Jon Old-Rowe

jonathan began practicing yoga in a teacher training in 2001. there were a series of events that led him to understand the need for certain reorganization of his life attention. after the teacher training ended he immediately began instructing at the studio that trained him. in the following years his studies led him to train with Marc McCauley, Agama Yoga, Anna Forrest, and Annie Carpenter. in total he has taken three 200hr trainings and one 500hr training, is certified by the prison yoga project 100hrs to teach in correctional institutions. he has 200hrs of massage school certification and is reiki level 2 certified. jonathan has taught in india, thailand and china. his work in the prison system is in san diego where he currently resides (not in prison, he lives in san diego).  the practice of yoga is a wonderful way to enable oneself to be steady and calm no matter the situations that life brings to or takes from one, as well as a phenomenal way to keep the physical body operating at its peak potential.

“so think as if your every thought were to be etched in fire upon the sky for all and everything to see. for so, in truth, it is.

so speak as if the world entire were but a single ear intent on bearing what you say. and so, in truth, it is.

so do as if your every deed were to recoil upon your heads. and so, in truth, it does.

so wish as if you were the wish. and so, in truth, you are.

so live as if God herself had need of you Her life to live. and so, in truth, She does.”
